Levco has partnered with the Children’s Learning Center (CLC) of Stamford to support early childhood education. In an effort to improve the tools available to CLC’s teachers and promote engaging and innovative learning environments inside their classrooms, Levco provided, installed and offered the necessary training on a state of the art SmartBoard.
CLC is part of the National Association for the Education of Young Children as a leading organization for early childhood development. The CLC’s mission is to make high-quality early childhood education and childcare programs available for all families in the greater Stamford, CT area. All children, regardless of background or financial need, are given opportunity to experience a comprehensive educational structure at a young age.
They offer a variety of programs, from infant and toddler care to preschool and implement a comprehensive curriculum for children that emphasizes the importance of establishing responsive, trusting, and meaningful relationships and experiences during the first few years of their lives.
Last month Andrew Sidhu, an Information Technology specialist at Levco, hosted a demonstration at one of their locations to show the CLC teachers how they can use the SmartBoard for their meetings and classes. The overall impression from the CLC staff was that improved technology not only makes their jobs easier but will assist in a better educational environment for their students.
Innovation and education are important to Levco and partnering with organizations like the Children’s Learning Center is a great opportunity.
